About Gallart
International Art Gallery and Painters Network
Gallart Network is an independent, non-commercial online art gallery created to help painters present their work, build visibility and reach people who are genuinely interested in painting. The idea is to provide an international meeting point for artists, art lovers and collectors without turning Gallart into an art dealer, auction house or commission-based marketplace.
The network welcomes both established and emerging painters. Artists can present original paintings created in many techniques and styles, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media and other forms of visual art. Gallart is intended to make different artistic approaches easier to discover while giving every participating painter a clear personal gallery and a direct way to present their work.
Helping painters present and promote their work
Each member can maintain an individual artist profile with a biography and a selection of artworks. Secure member pages allow painters to update their own text, change artwork information, revise availability or prices, and replace images when their portfolio develops. This makes the gallery useful as a living presentation of an artist rather than a page that becomes outdated after publication.
Gallart focuses on promotion and discovery. Visitors can browse the Painters List, open individual artist galleries, view paintings and their details, and contact artists directly when they are interested in a work. Gallart does not take a commission from direct artwork sales and does not act as an intermediary in agreements between an artist and a buyer.
A non-commercial artist community
Gallart is operated as an artist-focused, non-commercial project. The one-time lifetime membership contribution is used to help cover the practical costs of keeping the network available: web hosting, e-mail delivery, security, software maintenance, backups, administration, moderation and the continuing technical development of the service.
The membership contribution is therefore not a payment for sales representation and does not buy preferential placement in the gallery. Its purpose is to support the shared infrastructure that allows painters to maintain their pages and lets visitors browse the international collection.
More than individual gallery pages
Gallart also includes community features intended to connect people around art. Visitors can vote for painters, use the Art Related Message Board to exchange information, and browse selected Art Links to other relevant art resources. These features complement the individual artist pages and help create a broader painters network around painting, visual culture and the exchange of art-related information.
Direct relationship between artist and visitor
Artwork, artist text and images remain the responsibility of the individual painter. When a visitor wishes to ask about availability, price, shipping or another detail, communication is arranged directly with the artist. This keeps Gallart focused on presentation and promotion while allowing painters to remain in control of their work and their relationships with interested visitors.
Gallart's aim is simple: provide painters with a stable international place to be seen, make original artwork easier to discover, and support a diverse online community of artists working in different styles, techniques and stages of their artistic careers.
